H1B Extension again

Hi all,

My employer is going to apply for the h1b extension this month (June 05), but my h1b expires 30 of Sept 05. I'm going back to my country for vacations in Sept and planning to come back before 30th. How long does it take to get h1b extension ? Can I get my visa restamped in my native country ?

H1B extension

Should take somewhere around 3-4 months. I would suggest you to get extension papers in hand and then travel to home country. You have to get it stamped out of US.

Is it ok if I wait for extension approval in my home country and then get my H1b restamped?
