H1B extenion approval with wrong dates -EAD got expired

My H1B extension got approval with wrong dates and EAD is getting expired this week. Requested to INS for correct dates couple of times but as usual no response. What would be my work status? Can I keep continue to work? Never changed employer. Applied for EAD renewal and waiting for approval.
Is someone gone through the same stage? Appreciate your feedbacks.
 
work without salary

it\'s better to go on leave or work without salary and get paid once ur ead comes back. U won\'t go out of status as u filed for adjustmemt of status but can\'t work without proper work authorization permit
