H1b entry at the end of validity

My H1b is to be expired on 30th sep 2007.My employer has issued me employment confirmation letter and asked me to come within this month.Will there be any issues at Port of entry.appreciate your view..
 
Didn't your employer applied for extension? In that case, carry whatever info you have (application package or receipt notice) about that.

Thanks for your suggestion..First time i am entering into USA in this H1b ..employer assured he would apply extension once i landed there and getting my SSN..what do u mean by applicaltion package?...Thanks..
