H1B Denial: Please Advise!!

Dear Forum,

I am currently on an H4 visa. I applied this year (2005) through a large organization for my H1B visa but after a six month wait I am informed that it has got denied, no reason was given and I am not at liberty to speak to the lawyers as the company is the only point of contact for them. I had the following questions:-

- Is there a way of knowing why a person's application was denied? Do I need to know in case asked during future visa processes ?
- How would this denial affect my future prospects of getting another H1B visa?
- What are the pros and cons of appealing the denial?

Without knowing any details about the case, no one would be able to answer your query. request your company to get details of denial from the lawyer. tell them how important it is for you to know about denial. tell them this could reflect into your future applications to USCIS.

did you maintain legal status through out your stay in US?

If everything was fine with your status then I would suspect something wrong with your application, LCA or something else. may be some blunder by your company. find out details.
