H1B capping effect on current H1B visa holder

Hello,

Does anyone know if the H1B capping has any effects on the current H1B holder if she/he wants to switch to another company? From what I've heard, the new applicant will have to wait for next year October in order to get the visa. Does a current visa holder have to wait until next year also if he/she wants to switch to another company?
 
H1B cap does not effect Current H1B holders

HI Cap does not effect current H1B Holders. as long as you have a valid H1B and want to transfer it you should be fine
