h1b cap reached. is it time for i-485?

I think "cap reached" only means that they have received enough applications to count towards the cap. Applications received after that will have to wait for next year. That still does not mean that they have "processed" all the applications that count towards the cap. So, my friend, still no hopes for us.Even if they process all these H-1s they will find some other excuse.

ItsComing It's coming

It's has been coming for most of us for more than 800 days now. and counting.......... so,is it still coming?

In the previous update CSC mentioned by early march they will be done with processing TPS and with H1B cap being reached we should see some improvement in 485. Hang on guys and lets hope for the best.

staycool,
I don't want to kill your hopes but I have gone through this cycle several times. Something always "ends" and we all think 485 is the next priority for BCIS and they never failed to surprise us with yet another "priority" that pushes 485 to the back burner.I think writing to congress and lawsuits are the only ways to get attention.

I am sure BCIS will find another excuse to delay I-485 processing, things like refugee, AP and EAD. It is just about 2 years since I filed my I-485, looks like I have lost all interst in life.
