My friend went for B2 Visa in Dec 2004 & Jan 2005 and both times it got rejected under Section 214(b) in New Delhi.
Now she got the job offer and H1 approval (Reporting Consulate is Chennai) however we have following questions:
1) Will the prior B2 Refusal effect H1 Stamping.
2) Now she will go for stamping in Chennai, Will it effect as earlier on B2 occasion she went to New Delhi consulate. One reason for goint o Chennai is that now the work place is Andhra Pradesh so nearest Consulate is Chennai.
3) While she applied for B2, in DS157 (Supplement Inf. form) she mentioned that she is a housewife because she gave the resignation and did not specify the last 2 employers. Later when her B2 was refused she went back to same employer and took back her resignation & started working again.
Now if she specifies previous employers will it create any issues.
