H1B approved or not???

Hello folks
I know this is not the right forum for this but I find all in this forum to be very active and prompt and would really appreciate your response
Is there a way to find out if H1B has been approved by calling the toll free no or any other way to find the same We dont have the LIN/EAC no. The company is not issuing H1B approval notice. We just wanna be sure that my wife has H1B status with an approved I94
Pls reply at your earliest. Will appreciate your responses

If you dont have your Receipt number then you cannot find out the status. You should ask your employer.

there is no way to check with her SSN or by going to the local INS office
