H1B approved but still taking classes Need clarification

Hi All,
I finished my masters MBA in DEC 05 but due to delay i missed out on the H1B quota in 2006 . So i enrolled in another program MS and am continuing school , Now i have got the H1b approval (masters quota 07) and I94 also but i wanted to know if i can discontinue school starting october. Or do i have to wait till i leave the country and get the H1 stamped and then discontine school .Does F1 visa end when we get the H1 approval . Will it affect my H1 status if i continue in school ?. Replies will be appreciated . Anyone needing information about the stop gap Kaplan or any other school I20s feel free to email me and i will try to do my best.

After your H1B got approved and you got I-94, you are already in H1B statues. You lost your F1 so you don't need to go to school, and if you go to school , you don't need to pay as international student. Since you have a new I-94 you don't need to go back your country to get a stamp. When did you receive your I-94 ? Did you apply for change of statu same time when you applied for H1B?

Hi Yasmin thanks for the clarification .I did not apply for Change of status but i applied under the masters quota .it says start date on my H1 of 10/1/2007
