H1B Approval & Stamping after J1 Expiry Date

Dear all,

I am currently holding J1 visa and subject to 2 years HRR. The two years
restriction will be expiring in September 2005.

Meanwhile I wanted to know if I can file for my H1B now and get the approval.Once this done then Can i go for H1B Visa Stamping after Sep 2005?

Any help in this highly appreciated.
