Hi all, my H-1B application (general quota) was returned today. My lawyer actually messed things up. Instead of sending one $1600 check and one $500 check, he sent two $1600 checks by mistake. USCIS sent a letter today saying that my company should file correctly and then they will "readjudicate" the case again. They did not include any receipt number however.
My company said that they will file again correctly including the letter they received. Is there any hope left for me? I have to decide if I should join graduate school to say in status, so any advice will be of great help! Thank you!!
