Is there a rule for first time h1b holders that they cannot enter US 10 days prior to validity period of START OF h1b job.
Can one apply for SSN immediately after entering US on H1B or wait for validity period for H1B to start .Is it advisable to wait for some days to apply for SSN ,as i hear it takes time for INS records to update and SSN people verify with INS before issuing SSN.
