H1B-7th Year Extension.

Gurus,

I am kind of confused with 7th year extension.. Most of the people on this thread might gone thru this situation so I am posting this message here..
This is what I heard my lawyer..
1) I-140 approved and I-485 pending EB3 guys will get 3 years H1B extension?
2) I-140 approved and I-485 pending EB2 guys will get 1 years H1B extension?
3) I-140 approved and I-485 NOT applied EB3/2 guys will get 3 years H1B extension?

Gurus ..How far this is true? Is anybody getting 3 years of extension?

My case is 1st case and assuming that I will get 3 years extension...

Please share your comments and experiences...

You are getting 3 years when 140 is approved and 485 cannot be filed (PD is not current). Once 485 is filed, you can do EADs as opposed to regtrogressed folks.

I am case 1 and got 3 year extension couple of weeks back.

My lawyer said I can get only 1 Year extension, not 3 years since my I-485 is already filed.
