There is a provision for a 7th year extension to the H1 if the I485 is still pending. I have one question:
1. Can one file for the 7th year after the H1B expires (i.e. within a couple of weeks) or does it have to be before it expires? I have an EAD card which I can renew in case the H1B cannot be extended.
If anyone has the answer and particularly a site that provides information, I will be grateful.
