Hi guys,
My H1-B 6 year period ends on mar 13, 2001. I have applied for my GC through EB3 and my PD is current now. I am processing the 3rd stage through CP and my packet 3 forms are with Chennai Consulate. I have applied for H1-B extension for 1 year through the new law on Jan 16, 2001. But before i leave to India for my interview, which i expect to be around end of march or beginning of April, i would not have gotten my H1 extension. My I-94 says that i am admitted in US only until Mar 13, 2001(my H1-b end date). When i go for my CP interview(probably in Apr) Will i be considered to have overstayed my I-94? Will that be a problem with my GC application?
