H1B - 221g Ciudad Juarez – Want to try in Chennai – Please help

I came here on H4. After four months I got a H1B. A year later I tried to get a multiple entry visa in Ciudad Juarez but was refused one on the grounds that my degree was from India and that it could not be verified. A 221g was stamped on my passport.

It’s been a year and a half since. Now I wish to try my luck in Chennai.

I have an engineering degree in Electronics and have 3 years of work experience.

What are the risks of applying for a visa in Chennai?
Will the 221g stamped on my passport cause a problem?
The 221g stamping does not mention a date. Will that cause a problem?

Please share your opinions/experiences. It would really help me.

Yes, I did. I had all the required documents.

Anyway, it\'s been a while since that interview (1999) and I\'m not sure what detailed experience you are looking for.
