Hi Guys,
I work for a large corporation and they filed my Labor cert., I-140 and 485 (RD 12/31/01,Vermont). I am currently on 7th year H1B (expires in 3 months) with the same company and have my EAD as well. My current EAD will expire in about 3 months and the company has filed for EAD extension.
Since, the current business climate in the company is not very favorable I have been asked me to be on the bench (leave of absence) for a month or two. The company immigration lawyer is recommending the company to withdraw my H1 and employ me on EAD if I am put on leave of absence.
Will withdrawing H1B affect my I485 in any way and if so how?
