H1 with one company and working part-time for a second company

Hi,
I think I know the answer to my question but wanted to post it anyway, in the hopes that there might be something that I am not aware of.

I am currently working for Company A with whom I have my H-1 also. I have got an offer (unrelated to my field of work but I am pretty good at it) from a different company as a part time consultant (4-6hrs a month). I would like to know if there is anyway I can take up this part-time offer and get paid for it at the same time. I am pretty sure its a "NO" but would appreciate it if you could share your experience (if any) similar to this.

So efefctively, I will be employed full time in Company A and part-time in company B (on a need basis), getting maid from both places but my passport still showing only Company A.

u need to apply for a concurrent H1b for the 2nd company .

for 4-6 hrs a month , not much chances of gettimg it
 
You have two options.

Take a Personal Check from the other one.

or

Go through your H1 Employer for the billing, he will eat some money and you will get part of it.
