I have recently applied for a H4 extension (been on H4 for 5 years) along with my husband's H1 extension based on my husband's approved I140. I wanted to know if the extension that I would get is strictly "H4" years or can I get a H1 during this period. Also, if H1 is not possible, is there any issue in going from an extended H4 to J1 (I am planing for match 2007). Thanx in advance.
