I got my H1 I797 approval from BCIS. I was on students visa OPT. There is a I94 attached to the bottom of my I797. There are two parts on the bottom one is the I797 and the other says alien permanent record. The dates valid is specified on the permanent record but not on the I94 itself. What does this mean. Do i have to go out immediately to get my H1 visa stamped? I dont have the visa stamped as of now.
