I joined my residency in 1997 aug 1st on H1. the university gave me a faculty post after i finished my fellowship. I have filed for labor certification on July2002&NIW&EB1 on nov2002. My problem is when will my 6 year cap ends?the university usually give contract untill june 30 th.& I used to get aseperate contract to continue my residency &fellowship.This time for the job they renewed untill June 30th 2003(11months).The NSC gave labor contract for 11months &I-94 valid upto 2005!My lawyer said it won't be a problem . I am worried at the pace of NSC procesing & considering applying for O visa , when my university ask for next renewal. my employer is more than eager to keep in position. Please give your opinion.
