Hi! I am a doctor. I got a prematch offer from one of the hospitals and I have already completed my step3 and waiting for the result which is expected in 2nd or 3rd wk of February.Meanwhile the hospital saidthat they have all the papers ready and just waiting for my result to file the papers.I am on B1/B2 visa which is valid till Aug 2001 and I 94 valid till July.I wanted to know
1]Is it better to wait in US for the H1 approval or go back to Trinidad[where I am currently working] for collecting the visa.I am from India.
2]Just in case my approval is delayed and I dont get my H1 before Aug 2001,will my stay in US beyond Aug 2001 be considered illegal?
3]Is it advisable to collect H1 visas from a third country[Trinidad]?
