I came to the US in 1999 on a F1 visa (visa was valid until August, 2002). Graduated in 2002 and got my first H1B in November, 2003. In January, 2004 I got a new job and a fresh H1B. Now, I need to get the H1 visa physically stamped in my passport in connection with some upcoming travel plans. How safe will it be for someone in my situation to go to Toronto to apply for the H1 visa? Reading through this forum I do know that F1 to H1 is not usually a problem. However, in my case since this is technically my 2nd aproved H1 will that create any kind of problem?
Also, I would like to point out that I did not leave the US at all for the entire duration of my stay so far. Can that create any problems?
I will appreciate any advice/suggestions on this issue.
