I recently got an H1 via after working on J1 for 5 years. I would like to visit India as I have not gone back in 5 years but I am confused that where should I try to get my visa stamped.
My J1 visa was issued in Canada as I was living in Canada at the time and was a permanent resident of Canada. But now, my canadian PR has expired. Also, if I try doing that in canada, do I need to get a canadian visa first?
Please guide me in the right direction.
