Presently i am on L! visa for Company A and is valid upto 2008 August. COmpany B has sponsored H1B this year and got the approval under the lottery. I need to join the company on 1st OCtober.
My questions:
1. My Company policy is to provide 30 days notice before i leave the job. If i give resignation in September and they accept immediately, will i be out of status.
2. If i go to India and get HiB stamped, will i not have any problem with the present employes ie Company A.
3. Can i take the salary from Company A in OCt even though i have changed status to H1Bin oct.
4. If i go to India and get Hib stamped, how long will i get time to leave Company A and join Company B.
5. Any other precaution i need to take.
