H1 Visa stamping experience- Mexico

I am mostly going to get it stamped in Mexico too. have you got your permit? i am thinking of going through Victor Garcia.
 
Succesfull Stamping in Matamoros

Guys,
Just got my H1B revalidation done from Matamoros/Mexico.

The stamping itself was the easy part compared to the wait/checks at the Port of Entry.

3 Questions asked @ the stamping office ..

1) So u work for **** Company - Answer: Yes
2) What do you do - Answer: programing
3) Have you had any problems with immigration before - Answer: NO

Please have a seat and we will call you back after the visa is stamped.

Didn't ask me many questions other than things like Employer's phone number, drivers license etc.. but kept on working on my case for abt 3 hrs. The killer was when he kept looking at the same page on my passport for abt 15 mins :confused: Not sure what he was reading or trying to understand.

Hi aonflux,
I am going to Ciudad juarez,Mexico for stamping on 2ed March.
I sent document to Victor Garcia for Permit and DD. I see lots of people using
his services so I think he must be reliable source. Let me know where and when you are planning to go. can share more info as I am also using his services.

H1 in Matamoros - Visa Appointment

I am planning to reserve a visa appointment at Matamoros US Embassy. Is it more cheaper to do it by internet or by phone call?

Did you use the services of attorney to going to Matamoros? Did you need a permit to cross the border?

- No I didn't.

Did you need a permit to cross the border?

-- It is required to enter mexico, but I was out of time and went w/o a permit. But I would recomend please take a permit if time permits. Other wise u might get into trouble with mexican immigration folks, just not worth it ..

Hi,

I want to go to Mexico for H1-Visa stamping. If anyone help me with the following questions, I really appreciate it.

1) I am currently in dallas/texas. I am planning to drive down to mexico US consulate locations. Which would be best (safe & closer to drive) location?

2)I will be going to mexico embassy in dallas tomorrow, to apply for a visitor visa. any hints on this?

3)how can i schedule an appointment with US consulate in mexico. today when i tried to do with one of the location;s website, it took me where It apprears that it is assuming for H1-B visa applicant rather than just stamping. its lil confusing to follow the rules in the website? can you please send me a link, where i can schedule an appointment with us consulate in mexico?

do we need all the W2s?

Guys
Do we need all the W2s we have been in US?
In my case, I came in October 2003 and wasnt on project so my employer didnt filed my W2 for 2003 but have W2s for 2004
Please let me know
