H1 Visa stamp in Canada

I appreciate if somebody answers the following questions.

My wife is currenlty on H4 visa which will expire in May 2005, recently, an employer has applied H1B for her. In order to have H1B stamp on her passport, without going to India, can she go to Canada for visa stamping? or Is it equired to go to home country for H1 stamping?

If it is allowed to go to Canada, can she come back to the US on existing H4 visa if the US consulate in Canada rejects her H1B visa?

Depends on lot of things

1) If she applied in canada and if they approve H1 then they will cancel H4 . If they dont approve it , then I dont think they will cancel her H4 as long as you still have valid H1 here.
