my first H1B expires on May 5th 2004. My compnay has submitted papers for extension, but I am yet to get it approved. I also need to get it stamped on my passport as soon as possible as I will have to go to Europe on work in July-August.
Can someone please advice if I should go to Canada or go to India ? If I am to go to Canada, I need to taek appoinment with the consultae there only aftyer I get my I 797 ? What if I get it more than 10 days after the expiry of my fist H1B visa ?
