H1 visa quota

Hi,

Can anyone please give me some information regarding the following?

1) How many H1 can one file at a time- I have one company who has already filed for my H1 and another company who has also made me an offer and I am tempted to take them up can they also file for my H1.

2) In April the quota opens, by what date should we file for H1, does it get exhausted in few days or approximately by what date does the quota get exhausted?

you can have more than 1 h1b. you should file as soon as you can. impossible to predict how soon the numbers will be depleted but h1 has a high demand. sometimes visas run out by december.
