H1-Visa in Canada. Help us.

I want to stamp my Visa for the H1-B (extension) from Toronto, Canada. My Original H1-B and the I-94 have expired, though my extension was applied before the expiry I work with the same company.

Now, if for some reason, there is a problem in getting my H1-B visa from US Consulate in Toronto, will I be able to come back to us.

Also, what do I need to get a Canadian visitor visa from Detroit?

Please share your experience for both Canadian visa and H1-B stamping in Canada.
