hi,im a medical graduate from india,iam taking my usmle this year,id like to know what the chances r for me getting a residency with H1 sponsorship by a hospital in NY/NJ.secondly can i do my residency on F1 visa?if so what r the requisites?thirdly is it necessary to pass step3 to get residency on H1visa?fourthly what sort of jobs can i get with my medical degree from india?
 
U can get H1_B

Yes U need step3.
There r hospitals in NewYork, New Jersey area who sponsor H1s.
It also depends on how well u have done on your USMLEs.
You cannot do a clinical residency on F1.
U can do non-clinical masters in molecular biology, etc. on F1.
U could also consider Masters in Public Health on an F1.
