H1 visa Fiscal year 2006

Hello,

Since the govt made an exception for H1 visa recipients in 2004 to stay in USA until Oct1st 2004 (even though the OPT exp earlier). I heard that the govt is allowing this again for Fiscal year 2006.

Please let me know if this is true?
