dear guys,

my h1 was filed in june 2004. in october, they requested further evidence, and the papers were submitted by my employer. presently, the precise status displayed is:

===
Application Type: I129, PETITION FOR A NONIMMIGRANT WORKER

Current Status:

On October 28, 2004, we received your response to our request for evidence or information. It is taking between 30 and 120 days for us to process this kind of case. However because preliminary processing was complete, the remaining processing time will be less than the maximum stated in this message. You will receive a written decision on this case.

the status has been this way for way, way too long. people who have applied far after me have already got their approval and are ready to fly.

i fail to understand what the nebraska center is doing

pray, somebody please explain what could be going on with my application.

many thanks in advance :)

Since they are saying that they will be providing a written decision in this case, they may not have updated the status on the site.
Do check with your employer if they have recevied any written communication? Or you can call up National Service Center and talk to customer representatives to find out the status

dear sachinpvrao,

many thanks for replying.

i am in constant touch with my employer in usa, and he has tried in vain to contact the center on fone. he told me, a machine voice informs him that it will take 90 to 120 days for completing the process on my application.

i am totally lost, kind of. there are hardly 18 days left for the 120 days and i am very anxious. kindly lemme know what i can do, if at all. or what really they are doing with my application

please reply asap.

many sincere thanks.

hello nimmagadda555,

my visa got rejected on educational grounds

please check via fone with your employer regarding your status. USCIS will NOT update the case status further.

do let the forum know what happened.

all the best!
