a friend of mine needs to apply for an h1 visa...he just graduated this past may and has been working for 4 months for a company. he still has his f1 visa, which expires in december of this year. should he apply now for his h1 visa? if so, can he still remain working for his employer, who is willing to sponsor him under the h1 visa? Or, does he need to leave the U.S. and then come back when his visa is approved? someone please help...
