H1 Visa approval notice received...Company doesent have an opening....?????Need Advice.

Friends,
I got an H1 Visa approval notice which was applied after I reached US on B1. The company sponsoring the Visa gave me the job immideately and since the H1 was not approved (Under Process) they started paying my in Cash. After Sept the economy went down and they told me to wait till I got my H1 approved.. Got the H1 approval on 23rd Jan and since then I am trying to get the Job @ company but in vain.. My Questions are:

1. What\'s the Duration I am legal in the Country

2. What\'s the Time duration for the Company to offer me a job

3.If the company doesn\'t offers a job opening... Can I take up a job in another company and apply for the Transfer of the H1 Visa..

4.DO I need any pay stubs( from the Last Company) to renew / rectify / New H1 Visa..?

5. What if I don\'t get an approval for the New H1B... Can I transfer my H1 to a B1 back again....(I came to US on a Business Visa)

I am not a lawyer but know little bit abut H rules
As long as u have 1-94 attached to H approval u r not subjected to 3/10 year bar U r considered leaglly out of status the day u leave the job on H as H is employment based specific,
Yes u can find a new job in the market and apply for transfer/fresh H start looking job asap the sooner u find and file the better it is
