I have several physicians that are currently residents and fellows that will graduate in June 2010 and we plan to process applications for H1B visas to apply by April 1st for work starting October 1st, if they recieve an allocation. Will the immigration service consider and act on the H1B application even though the physician has not received their medical license from our state medical board prior to their application? Oklahoma medical board does not meet every month so it could take a few months to obtain a medical license and I don't want to hold up the H1 visa application waiting for the medical license if I don't have too.
