My wife was on a H1. She filed a change of status to move to H4 based on my H1 from company A. Now if I file for a transfer to company B, how would it affect her COS application? Can I cancel her old application and refile it along with my H1 transfer?
If I use premium processing for my H1-transfer, my transfer will go through before her COS. Under normal processing, mine might come through after hers. Would that be better? But then, I cannot wait for the transfer approval to come through before changing jobs. I would be out of status if the transfer gets denied for some reason.
