I resigned my previous job two weeks ago for a new job, as I was expecting my EAD through the green card filing soon. However, I did not receive the EAD and the new employer was in a hurry to fill the postion and so lost that job offer.
However, my previous employer did not cancel my H1 visa as yet, but officially in their system my last working day was March 2. They would like to take me back now. Can I go back under that same status and work now? My H1 there is valid until October 07?
