h1 transfer timeframe

Is this possible.

Initiate a transfer from Company A to Company B this month and join the employer later only after 5 months.

Is there a timeframe?

I am assuming that , you can work for A until your H1 gets approved with the new employer B.

In your case will it not be a good Idea to start a new H1 with company B?

This was you can work for "A" and "B" until you decide.

hmm, new h1 is going to take long time, thats why i am asking if there is any timeframe.
