My H1 transfer was filed back in Apr 2009. Got RFE in Aug 2009 and responded rightaway. According to USCIS web site RFE response was received and case is resumed.
I am already working with this employer XYZ based on Receipt Notice for H1 transfer application.
I still have valid H1 from ex-employer ABC.
Also GC - I-485 is pending and I have EAD.
Need to travel urgently out of country.
Can not wait to apply and get AP.
Question:
Is that okay to travel out of country with valid H1 from ex/previous employer and receipt notice from new employer?
Does applying for transfer invalidates my previous H1 visa in anyway until H1 transfer is approved? Or in other words when I applied for H1 transfer did that cancelled my existing H1?
Should I be concerned about my GC process?
Anything I need to know / concerned about. Please advise.
