H1 Transfer. Does that require H4 transfer too?

Hi,

I have recently applied for H1 transfer to company Y and will start working for them. My wife has H4 through me but while I was working for my earlier company. Do I need to apply for her H4 transfer as well?
 
Yes, you need to apply for H4 (I-539). If she is having enough time for her I-94 expiry, she can file for her extension later also.
 
Her I-94 is valid till nov 2008, so I guess we can wait for my H1 B extension approval to come before applying for her.
