Hi,
I got my H1 approval and the start date was Oct 2004. I was not on my company's payroll for 3 months as my employer was new and did not inform me that I got my H1 approved. I started to work form Feb 05 and I have pay stubs since then. What implications would I have if I go for H1 stamping in Canada. As my W2 doesn't reflect H1 earnings and therefore the tax, but my H1 approval notice indicating that I got my status changed from F1 to H1 on Oct 04.
And also, I am not satisfied with my current employer and would like to transfer to another company A who are willing to transfer my H1. My question is, with all the above secnario of no paystubs from Oct to Feb 15, even if I transfer my H1 to company A, would I have any problems in getting stamped as I remeber reading somewhere on the internet that we have to go to stamping with the first H1 which in case would be my current employer. i.e we have to get H1 stamped before going for a transfer. How far is this true?
