My lawyer had filed for an H1 transfer from Company A to Company B in Jan'07, when I transfered my job. My H1 approval notice came only as a courtosy copy from USCIS without my new I-94 in March-07. The lawyer told it will take some time for the final approval notice to come with the I-94.
After waiting till May, The lawyer decided to put a re-application for my I-797.
But till today my H1 approval notice has not yet come.
Can someone please advise how much time does it normally take to get the transfered I-797? When I track the document on www.uscis.gov, it says approval notice send in March. Is there any other way to track the document?
