H1 transfer and GC.Pls help

I used to work for CompanyA later transfered H1B to CompanyB and later got layed off from CompanyB. Now can I go back to CompanyA or is there any procedure to be followed?

Company A does not know about my H-1 transfer and they are willing to keep my H-1 valid. Company A is also doing my GC and Iam filed 1-485 and have also got EAD. Am I in status. Can I continue my GC processing? Can I use EAD to work?

you can

if you have EAD, you can start working for ANY company (the sponsor or not) ASAP. Only when the 485 is approved, you should go to work for co. A (the GC sponsor). You don\'t need H-1 transfer if you want to use EAD.

Thankyou for replying . It is reassuring.

If I want to work on H1-B from company A which is stamped in my passport and valid till 2003 do I have to undergo some procedure like h-1 transfer back. H-1 from company B is not stamped in the passport.
