H1 transfer and extension

My visa expired on March 15th and my company says they have already allpied for extesion but they don't have a EAC number, INS is asking for more details to continue with my case. In this situation can I transfer my H1 with other company? is it possible? what all I need to do that. msnarik@yahoo.com

I dont get how you dont have the EAC # ..yet INS is asking for details.
Are you sure your company is not up to something shady ?
If your H1 extn has been applied before your
STATUS ( I_94) go expired ( not visa ) then you are ok.

extension and transfer

tt tt, I just called INS to make sure when my attorney is suppose to get the EAC, they say they my attorney should get one with in couple of weeks. I think what u saying is right but I need to make sure when my VISA is expiring.
One more question, can I do PREMIUM SERVICE while doing normal process?
Guees what, again my attorney says its not possible once its in progress.
