H1 transfer after 6th year extension

I am in my 7th year extension already. My current H1 is valid thru March 2007. If I change employer now and the employer request H1 transfer (based on pending labor with current employer), would I get new H1 until March 2007 or until July 2007. So I want to know if the H1 tranfer is approved for the pending duration of current H1 or next one year from the date it is filed. Please note that, the current H1 is 7th year H1 (already extened for 1 yr) and the labor is still pending.
