I was working with company A and they were going to lay me off on March 29th. So, I filed for a H1B transfer with a consulting company B on March 29th. The INS received the documents on April 1st and I have got the WAC number. I am still waiting for the approval.
In the meanwhile I got an offer from Compnay C and they would like me to work with them as a full time employee. By the time we apply for a new H1B application with this company it would have been 1.5 - 2 months since I got my last paycheck. I have heard the INS maynot issue an I94 in that case.
My question to you is.. what should I do now so that I do not have to leave the country and can work with Company C?
