H1 to F1 status

I am H1 B visa from Oct1st 2008, I want to switch to F1 visa now,
I contacted my school and they told me that I need to submit 'A letter of Intent' along with the other documents.

Could someone please send me the copy of 'Letter of Intent' in email or you can post it on this forum by replying to this post.

Why does applicant wish to study in the US?

Search Statement of Purpose on Google and you will get information on how to write it.
It is basically a letter stating why you want to pursue this program in that university. You know your reasons, so just write them. Remember you have to impress some academic people to make sure they will admit you into their program. This is not an immigration matter, but a matter of getting admission to the school.
 
I think this is not SOP since I was already admitted to the graduate program which I left to work on H1.

The letter I have mentioned is the letter which will be sent to USCIS for
I-539 (COS)

It still is the same thing according to me. SOP/LOI all should state convincing and truthful reasons why you want to study in this particular program. LOI for immigration may additionally mention whether and why you would return to your home country after completion.
