H1 stamping

I came to US for my Masters on F-1 visa and after graduating joined a US company and now on H1B visa. Now, i'm planning to go to India.

Is canada or mexico a good option for Visa stamping ? Any preference to a particular embassy? Any recent personal/freinds experiences about H1-B stamping in canada or mexico? and also India

I sent a mail to the US emabassy in mexico(El Paso) and they replied i would'nt fit in their category for visa stamping.

Any comments/suggestions are very much appreciated

Hi,

I am also in the same situation, I checked with El Paso, looks like they are not doing F1->H1 stamping now. I have also asked them regarding other embassays which do it. If you can send me your contact email, we can discuss and also post the result in this forum for others to follow
