Hi,
I'm a IT consultant with a Desi company.I got my H1 renewed with the same company 4 months ago. However i found there is 1 extra letter in my given name on my new h1 document when compared to my passport. My name is pretty long (around 25 letters).My company has filed for name correction and it is in pending for more than 3 months. I'm planning to go to India next month and this is my renewed h1, i have to go for stamping. Is there any problem if i go for stamping before the name correction done on my h1?
I'm in the project now and my manager is willing to give client letter, I have pay stubs for the last 19 months continiously with pay equal or above to my LCA wage.
Please advise me whether I should wait till my name got corrected or can i give a try for stamping.
